System Overview
Praised by the trade press as "feature rich" and "easy to manage", Amanda@Work.Group is the complete CTI solution for PC- and LAN-based applications. Core user features include audiotext, automated attendant, auto-scheduling, guest IDs, and voice messaging. Incremental features-- visual messaging, call control, fax mail, automatic telephone dialing and connection, and IVR -- allow you to actively manage incoming and outbound communications from any PC using Microsoft Windows or Windows95. Amanda@Work.Group's robust architecture supports 4-24 ports, 100 PC clients, and 15,000 users. On a per user basis, Amanda@Work.Group supports over 1,000 messages, seven custom greetings, seven personal mailing lists, and ten message notification instructions. The Amanda@Work.Group product provides user access to Amanda through either the user's telephone or desktop computer; remote access is via the telephone. Similarly, Amanda@Work.Group can be administered locally at the Amanda system, from a desktop computer over a network connection, or remotely, via a modem connection.

A Norstar version of Amanda@Work.Group is also available. Direct Norstar integration eliminates the need for costly VMI's (Voice Mail Interface Units). Digital connectivity allows Amanda to instantly recognize answer and busy tones for faster call connection.

Visual Messaging
Amanda@Work.Group allows you to manage your telephone, voice and fax messages from your PC. Sort messages by any of five categories: date and time received, addressee, subject, classification -- urgent, private, or normal -- or length of message. Use the player controls to play, fast forward, rewind, pause or stop message playback. Toolbar icons walk you through options ranging from compose and forward to delete.

Fax Server
Amanda@Work.Group supports the gambit of fax applications: fax-back, fax on demand, fax mail and fax messaging. One or more fax documents can be sent to a fax number entered by the caller, or faxes can be immediately sent to the fax machine the caller is on. Faxes can also be stored as messages for any extension. Private faxes can be viewed on the PC, printed on a local printer, and routed to a fax machine for remote retrieval. In addition, faxes can be sent from the desktop -- without a modem or separate phone line.

Interactive Voice Response
Amanda@Work.Group has virtually unlimited single-digit menu levels to accommodate caller access to any recorded information. Using Amanda's programming tokens, you can build an application to request caller input, access other information sources over a serial link or search a local or network database. Retrieved information can then be played to the caller as digits, a number, a dollar amount, a date, or in any custom format required.
